Happy New Year everyone, we’re glad you made it to 2012!
Voting from December’s shootout has been completed, and the votes tallied. Thank you and congratulations to all who entered, we appreciate your participation! We hope you not only enjoyed the shootout but also seeing the best of what others have to offer.
This was by far one of the most talent-packed shootouts we’ve had yet, and the votes definitely reflected that. A total of FOUR points separated third through ninth place.
And now, the winners are..
1st Place: David J Crewe & Brianna Sanderson – SCPG14-1 (15%)
Third shootouts’s a charm for David as he and Brianna Sanderson received the highest number of votes. This is Brianna’s second time being featured in the winning image, making use of those amazing windows for this shot. The two of them will receive free passes to US15, which is set for Sunday, January 29th, 2012!
2nd Place: Jason Nunag & Aly Bucholz – PickMe (12.5%)
What a way to make a splash! First-time attendee Jason Nunag shows how to handle Aly Bucholz’ fierceness in this amazing shot against that massive cyclorama!
3rd Place: Archie Acosta & Esmi Ari – 6019 (10%)
Archie Acosta, another first time participant, wins third place with 10% of the vote with Esmi Ari, who makes a stunning return to the shootouts. This was also in the same area as David & Brianna’s shot, but with a high-key approach using natural light and a reflector.

The Photographer of the Day, which is determined by the sum of votes received for both photos, is as follows. Each point received goes towards their Season 3 ranking, which concludes at US16.
